This  is the evidence base for housing needs as at February 2017.  There was extensive analysis into local needs from published research and local consultation.

Since completing this work,  South Hams District council have removed the proposal for 70 dwellings in central Totnes in line with community wishes.

A scoping report was prepared by AECOM through Locality support into Steamer Quay, an mixed use area in public ownership of South Hams District Council, and the KEVICC school site – a statement from the KEVICC Governors can be found in the links below.
